The Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival is proud to announce the selections for the Third Annual Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival (AMTF), which will be held August 6th, 7th, 13th & 14th, 2018 at Out Front Theatre. The AMTF will be four nights of original musical theatre performances by local artists, and written by authors from around the country. Performances will be open to the artistic community, the public, and the press. Individual Tickets are only $12-$17 (not including taxes and fees), and full festival passes are available for $50 at www.outfronttheatre.com. All four productions will be performed at Out Front Theatre, at 8pm on Monday the 6th, Tuesday the 7th, Monday the 13th and Tuesday the 14th. Out Front Theatre is located at 999 Brady Avenue Atlanta, GA 30318.
This year's selections cover a diverse range of material, from struggles with gender identity, to challenging family dynamics, to the yearning for connection and the origins of Wonder Woman. Festival patrons will have the opportunity to experience these brave new works in progress as they connect with those issues most relevant to our socio-political climate.

Their passions for the early feminist agenda, mixed with Marston's propensity for fetish and kink, created the perfect environment for the birth of a female hero of mythic proportions. A blue crayon, mislabeled as Red, is having a tough time.
As hard as Red tries, his drawings look strange... and everyone is noticing. His mother and brother want to help, his teachers and coach push him in different directions, and his fellow crayon-students think he's just plain weird. Red will try anything in order to be normal.
Then, Red makes a new friend who opens his eyes to the possibility that what others see as strange could possibly be what makes him special.
Based on Michael Hall's children's book, this family musical is about community, self-discovery, and being true to one's self.

The Fairy Hoax, a magical musical for the whole family, is a coming-of- age story about Dulcie, a thirteen-year-old girl in Yorkshire, England, who fakes photographs of fairies in order to save her relationship with her emotionally distant mother. With the help of Francis, an eccentric male friend, Dulcie manages to create a series of photographs that cheer up her mother, and enchant a nation.
